Mullite Insulation Brick Introduction
Mullite Insulation Brick is kind of high aluminum refractory material that consists of mullite(3Al2O3·2SiO2) as the main crystal phase.The content of Al2O3 is from 65% to 75%.The main bulk density is 0.8,1.0,1.2g/cm3.
The specification of the mullite insulation brick:
1. Low thermal conductivity,good thermal insulation effect.
2. Low melting temperature,due to the low thermal conductivity,the mullite lightweight thermal insulation brick accumulated little heat,and it can save much energy obviously during the process of intermittent operation.
3. With low content of impurity such as alkali metal oxides,high refractoriness and content of aluminum,it can keep good performance in the reductive atmosphere.
4. High thermal compressive strength.
5. With high precise of the appearance size,it can increase the speed of the construction,reduce the usage of the fire clay and can keep the strength and stability of the construction.So at last it can length the life of the lining.
6. The mullite thermal insulation brick can be made in different shape so that reduce the quantity of usage and the joints of bricks during the construction.The brick can be directly used as the lining of the high temperature of the kiln and now widely used in shuttle kiln,roller kiln,glass and petrochemichal industry kilns.
